We focus on Bible prophecy each week for about five-minutes, calling it a “Prophecy Update.”
Scholars say that of the 2500 or so prophecies in the Bible, there are approximately 500 prophecies of the End Times that are awaiting fulfillment.
We should be able to see things trending in the direction of those prophecies. For example: The Bible predicted that Israel, and Jerusalem in particular, would be incredibly troublesome politically in the End Times. It was to be expected; and it is obviously unfolding just as God predicted.
One writer reminds us,
The most prominent sign of the end times… is the nation of Israel. In 1948, Israel was recognized as a sovereign state, essentially for the first time since AD 70. God promised Abraham that his posterity would have Canaan as “an everlasting possession,” and Ezekiel prophesied a physical and spiritual resuscitation of Israel.
We’ve been mentioning advances in Artificial Intelligence- AI. It’s because of a passage in the Revelation of Jesus Christ.
During the future Great Tribulation, the Antichrist will have an associate commonly referred to as the False Prophet. At one point, we read, “He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed” (13:15).
I’m not saying it is… But it sounds like some form of AI.

Have you ever constructed a mental image of a person you’ve never seen, based solely on their voice? Artificial intelligence (AI) can now do that, generating a digital image of a person’s face using only a brief audio clip for reference. Named Speech2Face, the Neural Network – a computer that “thinks” in a manner similar to the human brain – was trained by scientists on millions of educational videos from the internet that showed over 100,000 different people talking. From this dataset, Speech2Face learned associations between vocal cues and certain physical features in a human face, researchers wrote in a new study. The AI then used an audio clip to model a photorealistic face matching the voice.

Famed astrophysicist Stephen Hawking warned on several occasions that a fully developed AI could destroy the human race, and Hollywood sci-fi movies are rife with fierce robots battling humans for control.

Will the Image of the Antichrist be AI? Maybe not… But this is the kind of news you’d expect from reading the Bible.
Jesus promised He’d return to rapture His church – which entails the resurrection of the dead in Christ of the Church Age, then the translation from earth to Heaven of all living believers.
It is presented in the Bible as an imminent (any-moment) event.
Then comes the seven-year great tribulation; then comes the second coming of Jesus Christ; then comes the 1000 year kingdom on earth; then comes the final judgment of all mankind; then comes eternity – with the Lord in Heaven, or without Him in conscious torment in the Lake of Fire.
