Prophecy Update #719 – Governor Dominator

The only way to make sense of what is happening around the world today is to know what is going to happen tomorrow. God has seen fit to tell us a great many things about the future. There are hundreds of yet-to-be fulfilled prophecies in the Bible.

We reserve a few minutes Sunday morning to suggest news, or trends, that seem to be predicted by a literal, futurist reading of the Bible.

To avoid sensationalism, we are careful to use recognized, reliable sources for news.

We’re not saying the things we report are the fulfillment of prophecy. We’re saying that they are the things you’d expect to be happening in the build-up to the future seven year Great Tribulation.

It is abundantly clear in chapters six through nineteen of the Revelation that the government of the Great Tribulation will be global and authoritarian.

The antichrist will have technology to identify everyone on the planet, track and dictate their movements, restrict or allow what they can purchase, and otherwise control their lives. He will posses the technology to eliminate people.

You would expect more-and-more to see the erosion of human rights, more invasive surveillance, and outright efforts to control our decisions and lives.

PayPal had to back-peddle after they announced new terms of use allow the company to confiscate up to $2,500 from your account if it finds you guilty of spreading “misinformation.” It shows you where we are headed in an increasingly digital world. It’s a form of Social Credit, by which you are punished for not being totally in agreement with whatever the powers that be deem correct.

Edmonton police are using DNA to generate 3D images of suspects they’ve never seen. They shared a computer generated image of a suspect they created with DNA phenotyping, which it used for the first time in hopes of identifying a suspect from a 2019 case. Using DNA evidence collected at the scene, a company called Parabon NanoLabs created the image of a young black man.

The composite image did not factor in the suspect’s age, BMI, or environmental factors, such as facial hair, tattoos, and scars. They released this image to the public, both on its website and on social media platforms including its Twitter, claiming it to be “a last resort after all investigative avenues have been exhausted.”[1]

A Colorado town has announced it will start using solar powered robots to track its own citizens’ movements apparently without any regard for privacy rights.

The town of Lafayette will be soon be using stationary automatic license plate readers according to a new report by CBS Denver.

“They take vehicle and license information, in an effort to locate stolen cars or people with warrants. Police say no speed information is collected,” according to the news report.

The readers also collect information on everyday Coloradans who have committed no crime and are under no suspicion of committing any crime according to the ACLU of Colorado.[2]

California Governor Gavin Newsom, Oregon Governor Kate Brown, Washington Governor Jay Inslee, and British Columbia Premier John Horgan “doubled down” on Thursday and signed a new Statement of Cooperation, another climate agreement – the Pacific Coast Collaborative –“recommitting” the Western region “to climate action.”

“This is not about electric power, it’s about economic power,” Newsom said. “This is about dominating a big global industry. Electric vehicles are a trillion dollar industry. We’re not going to cede that to other jurisdictions, other parts of the globe. We want to dominate that.”

In an Op-Ed article, the reporter commented, “So it’s not really about saving the planet, or the United States, or California; nor is it really about ‘extreme weather.’
But it is about government dominating an industry. Newsom said it aloud in this press conference.”

The overall goal of Newsom’s “sweeping” climate change package is “Achieving net zero GHG emissions” in the state. To do this California needs to address and change and completely alter electricity, buildings, transportation, industry, agriculture and land use… according to the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions. “Twenty-nine percent of US greenhouse gas emissions come from generating electricity. Most of the electricity is used in our homes, offices, and factories to power everything from heating and cooling systems to lights, computers, refrigerators, and cell phones,” they say.[3]

So pretty much everything we use in modern society needs to be upended, overhauled, restricted, and repurposed.

No one knows how all this will pan out. All I am saying is that these are the trends you expect from reading biblical prophecy.

We are witnessing the stage-setting for the seven year Great Tribulation that is described in the last book of the Bible. We will not, however, be on Earth during that terrible Time of Jacob’s Trouble.

The resurrection and rapture of the church are imminent. It could happen any moment; nothing needs to happen before it.

Jesus will come, in the clouds, and raise the dead believers of the Church Age.

He will transform the bodies of living believers to glorified, resurrection bodies. We will join Him in Heaven while the earth endures one final seven-year campaign of severe evangelism.

Are you ready for the rapture? If not, Get ready; Stay ready; Keep looking up.

Ready or not, Jesus is coming!
